1. What is Live-Japanese?
Live-Japanese is an online Japanese language school that delivers one-to-one tutorials through the Internet at competitive fee.  As such, Live-Japanese suites busy people like you, as you can take lessons everywhere you are and form early morning to late in the night.

All instructors are native Japanese speakers with bilingual skills. They are qualified and experienced, who help you to learn Japanese using free applications for PC-to-PC calls, such as Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger or Skype.

2. What is the difference between Live-Japanese and a usual school?
With Live-Japanese.com, you can easily fit lessons into your schedule, without sacrificing the benefits of a classroom environment and personal instruction.

You can choose specific time and date when you would like to take lessons.

You would also save precious time and transportation cost to come over to a classroom at a usual school.

3. Does Live-Japanese give me enough support through online-lessons?
You might be afraid that online lessons make you feel alienated in your learning process. No need to worry.

With a web-cam and a headset attached to your PC, you can see your instructor’s face and/or gesture, and hear his/her voice just like in a classroom environment. He/she would also use text messages and share files if necessary to facilitate your learning.

In addition, you will receive an email assignement sent to you after each class.

4. I am currently outside of Japan. Does it matter?
Not at all. The PC-to-PC technology such as Yahoo Messenger, MSN Messenger or Skype connects you with us worldwide. The only thing you might want to check is the time difference between your place of residence and Japan.

If you like, please check time difference:  http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/

5. How does a lesson work?
About five to three minutes prior to your scheduled lesson time, you would please  sign in to your preferred messenger application, and wait for an invitation from your instructors.

If you receive it, just press "Accept", you are connected with your instructor and ready to start a session.

Make sure you have attached a web-cam and a headset to your PC so that you can exchange images and voice with your teachers.
